Homemade Marinara Sauce
32 oz fire roasted diced tomatoes
1 onion, medium dice
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon white sugar
1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 bay leaves
Heat the olive oil in a dutch oven.
Add onion and garlic, saute for a few minutes until onions are translucent.
Stir in tomatoes.
Add sugar, oregano, salt and bay leaves; stir.
Simmer over time to develop flavors.
Remove bay leaves before serving.
