Alisa’s Slow Cooker Chicken, Stuffing & Green Beans

Recently, I have had some medical issues and both of us started new jobs, and so, we don’t eat the way we used to.  Luckily, we were invited to have dinner with our friends, Matt & Alisa, this week.  They served us this hearty meal and shared the easy-peasy recipe.  This prompted me to pull out the ole slow cooker, dust ‘er off, and feed my man a home cooked meal once again.

Alisa’s Slow Cooker Chicken and Stuffing

Ingredients
4 chicken boobs
2 boxes Stove Top Chicken Stuffing
2 cans cream of chicken soup with herbs
1 cup sour cream
1 bag frozen green beans
1 cup water

Directions
Spray the slow cooker with no-stick spray, like Pam.
Place raw, thawed chicken in the bottom.
Cover the chicken pieces with the dry stuffing mixture.
Combine soup and sour cream and spread over stuffing mixture.
Cover with frozen green beans.
Pour water over top.
Place lid on slow cooker and cook at High for 4 hours; about half-way through cooking stir the top ingredients together and fluff the stuffing, continue cooking.
