Josey’s Strawberry Jam

3 3/4 cups crushed strawberries
1/4 cup lemon juice
7 cups white sugar
1 pouch liquid certo

Hull and crush berries, one layer at a time. Measure fruit after crushed. Add lemon juice to fruit. Put prepared fruit into a large pot. Add sugar and mix well. Place pot over high heat, stirring constantly, bring to a full rolling boil; boil hard for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Immediately stir in Certo. Stir and skim for 5 minutes. Pour quickly into prepared jars.
